Solved! "This image cannot be displayed in Windows Photo Viewer."

This time, I would like to introduce a tool I have created that solves the problem of not being able to display images in Windows 10 or Windows 11 due to the error message "This image cannot be displayed in Windows Photo Viewer..."

"Windows Photo Viewer cannot display this picture. There may not be enough memory available. Close unused programs or, if your hard disk is full, free up space and try again."

How to use the tool

Download "SolvedWPV.zip"Unzipand run "SolvedWPV.exe".

*You do not need to run it as an administrator, but if an error occurs, try running it as an administrator.

The tool is very simple, with just two menus and two buttons.

When you click the "Resolve" button, the message "Settings complete! Try opening your images in Windows Photo Viewer!" will appear, so click OK to close the tool.

The issue is now resolved, so try opening the image in Windows Photo Viewer.

When you click the "Undo" button, the message "Undo completed" will be displayed, so click OK to close the tool.

This tool changes the color settings in Windows, so if you experience problems printing or other issues after changing the settings, please use the "Revert" button to return the settings to their original state.
