There seems to be a problem in some environments using Windows 11 where the "Resume Updates" button does not appear after pausing Windows Update.
This time, even if you don't see the "Resume Updates" button Windows Update I have created a tool that can unpause the video, so I would like to introduce it to you.
How to use the tool to unpause Windows Update
*This tool is for Windows 11 only, so it will not work on other operating systems and will display an error.
1. UnpauseWindowsUpdate.zipUnzipand run "UnpauseWindowsUpdate.exe" inside.
If Windows Update is not paused when you run the tool, a message box will be displayed and the tool will automatically terminate after 3 seconds.
2. Once the tool is running, you will see "Paused until..." above the calendar.
This display will be updated as the pause period changes in Windows Update.
If you press the "Resume Updates" button on the Windows Update screen, the tool will detect this, display a message, and exit after 3 seconds.
3. Click the "Resume Updates" button in the tool to unpause Windows Update and display the Windows Update screen.
If the Windows Update screen is already displayed, it will close automatically and be displayed again.
It will then display the message "Windows Update has been unpaused. The program will close." and then close the tool after 3 seconds.
