This time, from a userComment: I received this request and created a tool called "DelShortcutArrow".
I previously distributed a tool called "Win7 Shortcut Arrow Removal" on a website I ran, but I deleted it when the website was closed, so I decided to create a new one.
"Delete Win7 Shortcut Arrow" was only compatible with Vista and Windows 7, but "DelShortcutArrow" is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 to Windows 11.
How to use DelShortcutArrow
DelShortcutArrow is very easy to use; you can change the settings by simply clicking the "Delete Arrow" or "Undo" buttons.
If you want to remove the arrow from the shortcut icon, click "Remove Arrow", log off (sign out), and then log in (sign in) again. The arrow will then disappear.

If you want to restore the arrow on the shortcut icon, click "Restore," log off, and then log in again to display the arrow.

The next image is before removing the arrows.

Removing the arrows makes it look cleaner.

The icon will not turn black when enlarged or reduced.

It's very easy to remove the arrow from the shortcut icon, so please give it a try.
