What to do if "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" is not displayed

First, try restarting your PC once.

If the problem persists after restarting, try the following two methods:

1. Remove any external HDDs or USB memory sticks and then start your PC.

1. Shut down your PC and start it up with any external HDDs or USB memory devices removed.

2. Once your PC has started up and stabilized, connect an external HDD or USB memory stick.

3. In this state, check the taskbar for "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media".

2. Remove the device from Settings

Please connect an external HDD or USB memory and do not copy files to it.

1. Press Windows Key + I to open Settings.

2. Select "Bluetooth and Devices" on the left and click "Devices" in the red box on the right.

3. Scroll down on the right side and click "..." to the right of the device in question (external HDD or USB memory) under "Other devices."
