How to select which icons appear in the task tray on Windows 10/Win11

In Windows 10 and Windows 11, you can select which icons to display in the task tray (notification area).

As shown in the following image, there are icons that will not appear unless you click on the arrow (∧) part.

Make your computer easier to use by selecting the icons you want to always display and the icons you don't want to display.

How to select which icons appear in the task tray

1. Right-click the taskbar and click "Taskbar Settings".

Alternatively, press Windows Key + R to open Run, enter the following code, and press Enter:

2. Scroll down on the right side and click "Select which icons appear on the taskbar."

3. Here you can select the icons you want to display and the icons you want to hide.

Windows 11

You can also show or hide icons hidden in the task tray by simply dragging and dropping them instead of using the taskbar settings.
