You can display accent colors on the Start and taskbar in Windows 10/Win11 light mode.

This time, I would like to introduce a tool I created that allows you to change the "Show accent color on Start and taskbar" setting in the color settings of Windows 10 and 11, even in light mode.

Settings location: "Settings" > "Personalization" > "Colors" - "Show accent color on Start and taskbar"

"Show accent color on Start and taskbar" is grayed out and cannot be changed

Normally, "Show accent color on Start and taskbar" is set to "ダ ー ク"Or"Custom (default Windows mode: dark)", and if you set it to "Light Mode", it will be grayed out and you will not be able to change it.

If you want to revert to the original setting, select "Don't show accent colors on Start and taskbar" and click the Run button.

After you run "Show accent color on Start and taskbar" in "Start_and_taskbar_accent_color", you don't need to launch the tool every time.

From now on, the accent color of the Start and taskbar will change in real time whenever you change the accent color in the color settings.

If you change the mode to "Dark," or change it to "Custom" and set "Default Windows mode" to "Dark," then change it back to "Light," the settings will revert.

If so, run the tool again.

If the color does not change in Chrome or other browsers, change the accent color setting from "Manual" to "Automatic (automatically select accent color from background)" and then back to manual or restart your PC. This will change the color.
