Bug Information:

  • The screen goes black during installation and the installation stops.
  • Crashes after updating drivers
  • The screen flashes black
  • Game performance drops dramatically
  • When I run an app in full screen, the monitor starts flickering.
  • One of the two monitors goes black
  • Small checkerboard-like patterns appear randomly in Chromium-based applications
  • After updating the driver, GeForce Experience says it's not updated

I have also confirmed the point that "after updating the driver, GeForce Experience shows it as not being updated."

After updating the driver, when I check GeForce Experience, "Version: 555.85" is displayed under "Available," but there is no change when I check the update program.

Common issues include:Device managerWhen I check the driver properties, it has been updated.

This is a display issue on the GeForce Experience side and can be resolved by restarting your PC.

Regarding the issue where small checkerboard patterns randomly appear in Chromium-based applications, this is a Windows issue and will be released as part of an optional Windows Update in the last week of May.

In my environment (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060), when I played Epic Games' Fortnite, I noticed some slight stuttering immediately after starting, but other than that there were no problems.

Version 555.85 WHQL has some issues depending on the environment, but I personally think it's a good driver.
