The Windows 11 version 24H2 update KB5052093, released in preview on February 25, 2025, fixes an issue where the volume would increase to 100% when waking the PC from sleep mode.
It also resolves issues such as USB audio devices stopping working after the PC has been idle for a while and being unable to change the mouse cursor color.

Note that Scan Mode is on by default for most webpages (news articles, wiki pages, etc.).

KB5052093 is a preview release, so updating is not required, but if you are experiencing the above issues, updating may resolve them.
However, as mentioned above, this includes a fix that will be rolled out gradually, so it may not be an immediate solution.
KB5052093 does not currently appear when checking for updates in Windows Update, but it can be downloaded from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
