How to resolve the error "An error occurred while applying an incremental update to the base file"

1.Click the ESET Internet Security icon on the taskbar.

2. Click "Settings" on the left.

3.Click "Advanced Settings" at the bottom right.

If you have set a password, enter it and click OK.

4. Click ① "Update" on the left side, and click ② "Delete" button next to "Delete update cache" on the right side.

5.③ Click OK.

The description for the Delete button reads, "If you experience issues downloading an application or module, clear the temporary update files/cache."

Now that the update cache has been deleted, try updating manually again.

6. Click ① "Update" on the left and ② "Check for latest version" at the bottom right.

If there are no other problems, the update will complete without any errors.
