Cause

When you open Microsoft Edge, it will store your browsing history andcache, access files such as cookies.

If for some reason you are unable to access those files, the message "There is a problem with this page (Error code: STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED)" will be displayed.

Also, while opening Microsoft EdgeTask managerAs you can see when you open it, there are a lot of processes called "msedge.exe" running.

If you lose access during these operations, you will not be able to proceed any further and an error will be displayed.

1. Open Microsoft Edge and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously.

2. The "Clear browsing data" window will open, so delete all of the following four items.

*If "Clear browsing data" does not open, click the address bar once and then press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously.

    If you are logged in to any site, you will be signed out.

Check the items you want to delete and click "Clear Now".

  • This is a slightly different case, but for some reason I was unable to access certain websites, and at the time I remembered that I had set up a public DNS, so I changed it to a different one and it connected. (I used Chrome as my browser.)
