This time, we will introduce the 3D settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel, GeForce Experience settings, and Fortnite video settings to increase the FPS of Epic Games' Fortnite on Windows 11.
This is just my personal setup method, so please use it as a reference.
My PC specs:
OS: Windows 11 Home 23H2 64-bit (22631.3810)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor
Memory: 32GB
GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
Updated to 576.02 WHQL as of 2025/04/22
Please close Fortnite while setting up.
*FPS values may not always improve. This is affected by factors such as server congestion, your PC's specs, and your internet connection.
GeForce Experience Settings
1. Open GeForce Experience and check "Enable experimental features. Requires GeForce Experience update."
2. Next, turn on "Easy Scaling" at the bottom.
*When you turn it on, the screen will go dark for a moment and then return to normal after a while.
3. Select 85% or 77% for "Rendering Resolution" and change "Sharpness" to "15".
GeForce Experience is now set up and can be closed.
Do not optimize the game, go to the 3D settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
NVIDIA Control Panel 3D Settings
1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel and click "Adjust image settings with preview" under "3D Settings" on the left.
2. Select "Use advanced 3D image settings" on the right and click "Apply."
*If "Use advanced 3D image settings" is selected from the beginning, proceed to the next step.
3. Click "Manage 3D Settings" under "3D Settings" on the left.
4. Change the global settings under "Manage 3D Settings" on the right side under "Use the following 3D settings."
Change each feature to the following settings:

Click "On," check "Overlay Indicators," and click OK.

- Virtual Reality Pre-rendered Frames: 1
- Multiframe Sampling AA (MFAA): Off
- Low Latency Mode: Off
- Preferred refresh rate (UG24): Highest available price
*"UG24" may vary depending on the environment. - Vertical Sync: Off
- Maximum frame rate: Off

5. Once you have finished making changes, click "Apply" in the bottom right.
6. Click "Video Color Settings" on the left.
7. Under "2. Color adjustment method" on the right, select "Use NVIDIA settings" and change "Dynamic range" to "Full range (0 ~ 255)".
*Setting this will make it easier to see enemies during the game.
8.Click "Apply" in the bottom right.
Now that you have completed the 3D settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel, proceed to Fortnite's video settings.
