NVIDIA 551.23 critical issue: FPS drops and black screen with cursor only

It appears that a fatal bug has occurred in NVIDIA's graphics driver 551.23 WHQL, released on 2024/01/24.

In some environments, there has been a significant drop in FPS when playing games, and after installing the graphics driver, only a cursor appears on a black screen, and the desktop does not appear.

Many other critical issues have also been reported, including being unable to connect a monitor via USB Type-C, the monitor going completely black and not being able to enter the BIOS, crashes, blue screens, strange colors when watching videos in the browser (Chrome), the entire screen shaking, games stuttering, and screen flickering.

Although NVIDIA continues to update its graphics drivers, the fatal bugs mentioned above that occur in some environments have not yet been resolved.

If you are planning to update, I think it would be better to refrain from updating.
