Today, while I was working on Windows 11, I clicked on "Show Desktop" in the bottom right corner of the screen, and as soon as the desktop appeared, the taskbar disappeared.
This time, we will introduce a way to instantly solve the problem of the taskbar disappearing.
How to quickly fix the disappearing taskbar issue
A common reason for the taskbar to disappear is if the setting to automatically hide the taskbar is enabled.
However, since the setting to automatically hide the taskbar is not enabled, I think this issue is a bug in Windows 11 itself.
1. If the taskbar has disappeared, first right-click on an empty area of the desktop and move the mouse cursor over "View" in the menu.
2. A submenu will then appear, so click on "Show desktop icons."
3. The desktop icons will be hidden and the taskbar will be restored.
4. Click "Show desktop icons" again to display the desktop icons.
If this doesn't solve the problem,Task managerOpen the Processes tab, right-click on "Explorer" and click "Restart."
If the above methods do not resolve the issue, please try the following two solutions:
- Fix Windows 11 Bug: Taskbar Icons Disappear
- Repairing system files in Win10/Win11 with "System File Checker"
