What to do if you can't download because the message "Blocked by your organization" appears

"Blocked by your organization" appears when you try to access the site directly in Chrome.extensionThis occurs when you try to download an executable file such as ".exe" or ".msu".

*Even files with extensions such as ".zip" may display the message "Blocked by your organization."

The file download is blocked when you are signed in with a specific Google account, but you can download it without any problems if you use a different account.

I was also able to download it using a guest account.

It may be a setting, but I don't know how to do it at the moment.

Alternatively, you can use a third-party downloader to download without any problems, so please try that if you are having trouble.

To summarize the solutions, there are three ways to avoid the "Blocked by your organization" message:

  1. Download with a different Google Account
  2. Download with a guest account
  3. Download using a third-party downloader

Recently, an increasing number of users have been unable to download files in Google Chrome because they see the message "Blocked by your organization," so it may be that something has changed in a recent update.
